Our Founders
It all began with a simple idea and two friends.
Julien Saada and Gregory Mager are the co-founder of Maesa, a leading beauty brand incubator founded in 1997 in France.
Julien graduated from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees and lives in NYC with his wife and 3 daugthers.
Gregory graduated from Sciences Po and HEC Paris and lives in London with his wife and two kids.
A unique Journey
Over the past 25 years, the company has grown to over 300M Eur revenues and 450 team members with 7 offices across the globe.
After 10 years of sustained growth in Europe, a public listing on the Paris Stock Market in 2006, Maesa opened its US subsidiary in 2007 where it made several acquisitions and grew its business from 0 to over $250M revenues.
Gregory and Julien sold the majority of Maesa to Bain Capital in 2019 and handed over the day to day management of the company to a strong leadership team in 2021 remaining board members.
